They say love finds you when you least expect it. But I’ve learned that sometimes, love finds you when your soul is finally ready to receive it.
In late 2020, Jeran came across one of my online videos where I spoke about Lemurian energies—about how some of us have incarnated in this lifetime to activate ancient codes and fulfill a sacred mission. What I didn’t know then was that, across the world in Australia, this man—who had never heard of me—was listening and feeling something stir in his heart. A deep resonance. A familiarity. A knowing.
He didn’t know what it meant, only that it meant something.
He commented on my video. I saw it, and—following an intuitive nudge—I sent him a friend request on Facebook. That was it. A small moment in a vast universe. But the universe wasn’t done with us yet.
From Digital Connection to Divine Timing
At the time, I had been trying all year to move to Australia with my son, but the world was still in lockdown. Finally, in December 2020, I arrived—and posted something about being in quarantine on Facebook. Jeran saw it and was shocked. “Wait, what are you doing in Australia? Nobody’s traveling right now!”
I explained the story, and when I told him I was moving to Sydney, he asked where exactly. Turns out… I was moving less than 2 kilometers from where he lived. Out of the entire continent, I had unknowingly moved into his neighborhood.
Naturally, we met up. And when we did—there was something undeniable between us. But it wasn’t smooth. In fact, it was complicated.
Jeran was still holding on to an old relationship. I felt a strong pull toward him, but I couldn’t name it. It wasn’t infatuation. It wasn’t romance. It was something deeper, and it confused me. I remember telling him, “I feel like we’re part of the same soul group. I see us working together in the future.” I’m sure I sounded a little crazy at the time—but my soul knew.
The In-Between Space
For the next year, our connection went through seasons. Warm, cold, distant, close. I pulled away. He held back. We weren’t aligned—yet. Both of us had inner work to do. I had to let go of expectations. He had to release old attachments and open his heart in a new way.
I didn’t fit the mold of what he thought he was looking for. I was older. I had a child. He had never imagined being with someone who had children, and I never thought I’d be with someone who hadn’t. Our lives looked very different on the outside.
But there was a knowing that never left.
The Moment Everything Shifted
One day, by pure chance (or divine orchestration), we ran into each other by a lake. It was just before his birthday, and he invited me to a dinner celebration. That night changed everything.
Surrounded by his friends and family, I looked at him and felt this deep peace. A soul knowing. I wasn’t trying to figure anything out. I wasn’t chasing anything. I was just so happy to be in his life. Even as a friend, his presence felt like home.
Later, he told me he felt that same thing in that moment.
After that night, we began to reconnect. We’d run into each other again and again—at the shops, in nature, even after he moved away for a while. Somehow, the universe kept guiding us back together.
Then one weekend, when I was child-free, everything aligned.
A Soul Agreement Fulfilled
The night before that weekend, I heard a voice—clear, loving, and direct—ask me:
“Are you ready to open your heart?”
I answered yes.
A few minutes later, I heard a feminine voice repeat his name: “Jeran, Jeran, Jeran…”
My heart opened.
Five minutes later, Jeran called.
The next day, we met—and our relationship finally began. He says it felt like the blinds had come off his eyes and he could suddenly see what we could be together.
And from that moment forward, our love began to unfold—not as something perfect, but as something deeply aligned.
What Soul-Led Love Has Taught Me
This relationship didn’t arrive wrapped in a romantic fantasy. It came with friction. With doubts. With challenges. But underneath all that was a soul contract, guiding us toward healing and deeper alignment.
We had to clear old energy. We had to choose growth. We had to trust our hearts more than our minds.
And in doing so, we discovered a kind of love neither of us had experienced before—anchored in purpose, in truth, in spiritual partnership.
I didn’t think it was possible. I had given up on dating. I had surrendered. I remember telling a friend, “I don’t want anyone else unless they’re like Jeran. Not him, but someone like him.” A week later, the universe said: Then it shall be.
